Position Title: Route Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)/Warehouse Staff

Industry: Wine and Spirits Distribution

Location: Wichita, KS (plus greater surrounding area)

Handcrafted Wines of Kansas is a privately-owned distributor of wine and spirits and is seeking a highly motivated and qualified route driver to deliver the product to customer establishments. This is a full-time position. Depending upon the route, the driver will have an assigned time to report to the warehouse, given route information and load the product to their assigned vehicle, depending upon customer invoice specifications. The drivers are expected to provide our customers with high caliber service, always maintaining a top-notch degree of professionalism, honesty, and principles. This job will also require the driver to return their vehicle to the warehouse once their route has been completed.

Job Description/Essential Duties:

• Unload and deliver the product to customers daily, in good condition and timely manner.
• Provide high-level service to the client, maintaining a courteous attitude and service-oriented mindset.
• Produce invoice for each delivery and ensure completion of all paperwork from the customer.
• Collect accurate payment from a customer.
• Load van with the product for delivery.
• Merchandise product being delivered where needed, including stocking shelves and displays.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
• Work in tandem with sales reps to solve customer challenges.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay & Benefits:

• $17/hr.

Eligibility Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License/pass motor vehicle background check.
• Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds routinely.
• Required to work in all weather conditions.
• Work well in a flexible environment with others in addition to working independently.
• Work to deadlines.
• Organized/attention to detail.
• Positive attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in the wine & spirits industry and/or route deliveries is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to work is required.
• Working cell phones with navigation capabilities is required.

Shift and Schedule:

• Day Shift.
• 40 Hours per Week - Monday through Friday (Overtime available).
• Start and end times will vary but generally are between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
