The Opportunity

Reporting to the Editing Supervisor, the Multimedia Video Editor is responsible for independently developing and creating rich, engaging video and graphic content for use throughout QVC Group's platforms, while ensuring creative and marketing messages align with our evolving business needs. This role utilizes independent judgment and diverse skills to innovate, create, produce, and edit new and original video content. You will be expected to choose source material and coordinate with internal and external partners to stay relevant with industry trends. You will be expected to take a project from conception to completion on their own as well as work collaboratively with Multimedia Producers, the Creative Director, and external partners. You will be expected to edit extensively while creating and incorporating high-level motion graphics in the final deliverables. The Multimedia Editor works independently while using results-oriented approaches to create innovative, customer-focused content. They will be expected to seek out opportunities to create efficiencies and streamline processes.

Your Impact

You will create rich and engaging video and graphic content for use throughout QVC Group’s platforms. This includes:

• Independently producing high-level content

• Editing video or stills

• Motion graphics creation

• Media management

• Distribution of all codecs and file types

• Must be able to work autonomous from concept to completion.

Ideates and creates for new content types and platforms.

Research new content trends and techniques.

Works with market teams to implement new ideas and teach best practices.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of multimedia editing experience

• 4 Year bachelor's degree is necessary. (Film and Video Design, Communications, or another relevant field)

• Experience in social media creation for a national brand

• Experience working with top-level talent.

• Extensive knowledge of content distribution.

• Extremely Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)

• Expert in HD Codecs.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Messenger, etc. from content best practices and guidelines.

• Strong understanding of on-air and digital as potential content differentiator

• Creation of 3D animation is definite plus. (Cinema 4D)
