Tri-State Bobcat is a trusted provider of compact equipment solutions for construction, landscaping, and agriculture. With a strong focus on customer service and equipment excellence, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Yard Attendant and General Laborer to join our Hudson, WI location. 

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity, great for anyone interested in building a career in equipment service, maintenance, or general shop operations. You'll gain hands-on experience working with a variety of compact machines while learning from experienced technicians in a supportive, safety-focused environment. Typical hours Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4:00p, with pay between $20.00-$23.00 per hour, plus overtime.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with machine setups including push mowers, snow blowers, and other small equipment to ensure readiness for use or customer delivery.
• Thoroughly clean and detail machinery using pressure washers, degreasers, and hand tools to maintain professional appearance and prevent buildup of debris.
• Visually inspect equipment during the wash process to identify any damage, excessive wear, or required maintenance and report findings to the service manager.
• Safely move equipment throughout the yard using forklifts or skid steers.
• Keep the wash bay and surrounding yard areas clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
• Assist with organizing equipment, attachments and deliveries; help manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Provide assistance to shop technicians with basic tasks as needed.
• Perform light maintenance such as sharpening chainsaw chains.
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures; wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Promptly report any mechanical, operational, or safety issues to the service manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience operating Bobcats or similar compact construction equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions

• Physical work including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods.
• Exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, noise, and heavy equipment.
