Job Description

Thinking Minds Inc.'s client seeks an experienced SAP Fixed Assets Lead to play a key role in their SAP S/4 HANA Transformation Project. This role will focus on the Fixed Asset subledger workstream, ensuring seamless transitions, optimized processes, and robust data management for content accounting operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data governance and IT, while driving critical milestones in data conversion, testing, and training for end-users.

Key Responsibilities

Process Transformation:

• Review and redesign existing accounting processes to align with SAP S/4 HANA structures.
• Collaborate with process owners to implement changes in the Fixed Asset subledger domain.

Data Conversion and Reconciliation:

• Identify data profiling, cleansing, and conversion rules for accurate migration.
• Perform data reconciliations and validations during mock and production cutovers.

Project Coordination:

• Partner with workstream leads to manage migrations, improve data quality, and standardize master data.
• Support the creation of quick reference guides, training materials, and web-based simulations for end-users.

Post-Go-Live Support:

• Provide hypercare and assess post-implementation survey results.
• Address and escalate post-implementation issues effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and data teams to ensure project success.
• Support organizational change management initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in accounting systems, specifically within subledger and GL systems.
• Proven project management expertise in ERP transformations.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power BI integration) for data analysis.
• SAP Project Systems and Master Data Governance process knowledge (a plus).
• Strong aptitude for detail-oriented tasks and end-to-end ownership of data governance domains.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel domestically for project needs.
• Flexibility to work extended hours based on project timelines.
