Your Role
As a member of our Video Editing team, you will be at the core of our visual storytelling efforts. You will produce videos that make a significant impact, from engaging TikTok videos and Instagram Reels to captivating YouTube Shorts. You are not just an editor but a trendsetter, a storyteller, and a digital artist.

What You’ll Be Working On

Short-Form Vertical Social Media Video Content: This is our bread and butter. We want someone with lots of experience in viral "talking head" videos and podcast clips. And each video you create will need this:

• Hook: Utilizing visual, auditory, and clever techniques to grab attention immediately.
• Story Flow: Crafting a seamless narrative that keeps viewers engaged.
• Keyframing: Tasteful use of zoom-ins/outs, crop-ins, and motion tracking of movement (e.g., when a client holds something up).
• Green Screen: Being creative and bringing our client's stories to the front of the screen
• Memes: Incorporating up-to-date trending memes
• Music and Sound Effects: Using trending music when possible; if using stock music, ensuring it fits the video narrative and changes appropriately with the story. Avoiding generic backtracks and opting for tasteful choices, including pausing for emphasis when needed.
• Aesthetic: Ensuring high-resolution assets, clean fonts, and non-blurry PNGs. Avoiding stock footage unless done tastefully. Overall, ensuring the edit is clean, with no messy lines, bad fonts, or low-res assets.

What We Need from You

• Expertise in Short-Form Video Editing: Mastery in creating captivating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Trend Awareness: A keen eye for current trends in fonts, music, and sounds, especially those popular on TikTok.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and CapCut, including pacing, color correction, audio editing, text placement, eye lines, and motion graphics.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure high-quality output, even under tight deadlines.
• Versatility: Ability to edit a variety of footage types including high quality 4K camera footage and even iPhone videos.
• Social Media Savvy: A deep understanding and passion for TikTok trends and the broader social media landscape.
• Creative Storytelling: Ability to think outside the box and create videos that captivate and engage.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with our team.
• Availability: Ability to manage time effectively and handle a high volume of content.
